Amy Kott

Amy Kott is an Associate with Sinunu Bruni LLP. Ms. Kott has broad experience in consumer class action, insurance coverage, toxic tort, land use, employment, broker-dealer, construction defect, and asbestos litigation.

Ms. Kott graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1998. In law school, she was an Arthur Russell Morgan Fellow with the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights and a Senior Articles Editor for the interdisciplinary journal the Human Rights Quarterly. She externed for the Honorable Nathaniel Jones of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in her third year. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in International Affairs from Northern Arizona University in 1994.

Ms. Kott is admitted to practice in California. Prior to joining Sinunu Bruni, Ms. Kott served as law clerk for the Honorable Martha Craig Daughtrey of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and was a litigation associate in two top-rated San Francisco based firms. Outside of the office, she is committed to animal rescue and positive reinforcement-based dog training.
