After the commencement of trial, Chris Bruni won a dismissal for the firm’s client in a smoking lung cancer matter involving several Fortune 500 defendants. This victory was on behalf of one of the firm’s clients, a company involved in the international energy market.

In March of 2018, Chris Bruni and Steve Spaulding successfully defended a nationally franchised automobile dealership on a complaint involving alleged violations of the Business and Professions Code, Section 17200. Chris and Steve were able to get the Section 17200 claim dismissed, which resulted in a resolution of the matter.

In July 2016, Sinunu Bruni LLP partners Brian Triplett and Chris Bruni prevailed on a motion for summary adjudication, filed on behalf of a national construction firm, as to Plaintiffs’ causes of action for strict products liability, false representation, and intentional tort, as well as to Plaintiffs’ claim for punitive damages.

Jim Sinunu and Chris Bruni defended a national construction company in a living mesothelioma lawsuit. After opening statements, their client was dismissed without the payment of any settlement monies.

In May of 2014, Erin McGahey and Chris Bruni prevailed on a motion for summary judgment brought on behalf of their client, a local general contractor. Erin wrote the winning motion and Chris successfully argued the matter in San Francisco Superior Court.
